Optomen is an independent television production company, with Optomen Television Ltd. for the United Kingdom and Optomen Productions Inc. (launched in 2002) for the United States. Patricia Llewellyn
Patricia Llewellyn (7 February 1962 – 22 October 2017) was a British television producer and managing director of the television production company, Optomen, which in 2010 became part of the All3Media group. Llewellyn was born in Carmarthen, West Wales, and became best known for her work on cookery programmes. In 2002, the annual Glenfiddich Food and Drink Awards bestowed upon Llewellyn the Independent Spirit Award for her "progressive and confident approach to food and drink broadcasting". She acquired a reputation as a starmaker, having built hit series around previously unknown chefs, such as ''Two Fat Ladies'' with Jennifer Paterson and Clarissa Dickson Wright; and ''The Naked Chef'' with Jamie Oliver, for which she won her first BAFTA. Police Camera Action!
''Police Camera Action!'' is a police video programme made by Optomen Television, originally broadcast on ITV with repeats airing on ITV4. It was originally commissioned through Carlton Television. It was presented by Alastair Stewart from 1994 until 2002, until his second drink-driving conviction led to a temporary suspension, before he resumed his role with Adrian Simpson from 2007 until its cancellation three years later. In 2010, the final series of the programme was presented by Gethin Jones. History The first episode broadcast on 7 September 1994 was known as ''Police Stop!'', which was also the name of a similar police programme available initially on VHS video and later on Sky1. To this date, it is the only episode not to be repeated on Men & Motors or ITV4. ''Market Kitchen'' is a British cookery television programme, made by Optomen, that premiered on the Good Food channel in 2007. Presented by Rachel Allen, Amanda Lamb, Matt Tebbutt, Tom Parker Bowles and Matthew Fort, the programme concentrates on seasonal cooking and features visits to a local market to obtain seasonal produce. The first series was presented from a customised kitchen in Borough Market and featured Tana Ramsay as one of its presenters. In 2009, the programme incorporated the Local Food Hero competition, which had previously had its own series on UKTV Food. It will feature the winner of a competition to find Britain's best pudding, launched by Christopher Biggins in April 2010. Kitchen Nightmares
''Kitchen Nightmares'' is an American reality television series formerly broadcast on the Fox network, in which chef Gordon Ramsay is invited by the owners to spend a week with a failing restaurant in an attempt to revive the business. Produced by ITV Studios America, it is based on the British show '' Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares''. The show premiered September 19, 2007, on Fox. On June 23, 2014, Ramsay announced that he was ending the series; the final episode aired on September 12 that year. In June 2018, '' Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours to Hell and Back'', a new series with a premise much like ''Kitchen Nightmares'' but a shorter timeline, premiered on Fox. ''Food Glorious Food'' is a British cooking competition show that aired on ITV from 27 February to 24 April 2013, hosted by Carol Vorderman with judges Tom Parker Bowles, Loyd Grossman, Anne Harrison, Stacie Stewart and Andi Oliver who was a guest judge for the Harrogate heats.
