Slimane Raho
Slimane Raho (born 20 October 1975 in Oran) is an Algerian former professional football who played as a right-back. An international from 1998 to 2010, Raho represented the Algeria national team from 1998 to 2010, participating in the 2002, 2004 and 2010 Africa Cup of Nations. In total, he had 48 caps for the team, including 18 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches. He made his debut for the national team against Libya on 14 August 1998. Oran ( ar, وَهران, Wahrān) is a major coastal city located in the north-west of Algeria. The Algerian Cup ( ar, كأس الجزائر) also known the Republic Cup ( ar, كأس الجمهورية), is a football competition in Algeria, pitting regional teams against each other. It was established in October 1962, three months after independence, and has been played yearly since then apart from 1990 and 1993. The most successful clubs in this competition are USM Alger, CR Belouizdad, ES Setif and MC Alger with eight trophies for each.
