Skånetrafiken
Skånetrafiken is the regional public transit district in Skåne län, in the south of Sweden. Skånetrafiken was founded in 1999 when the two counties Kristianstads län and Malmöhus län were merged into one region, causing the two respective transport authorities for each previous county to be amalgamated. Presently, Skånetrafiken is a part of the regional government of Region Skåne. The main office is located in Hässleholm with a second office in Lund. The managing director of Skånetrafiken is Magnus Hedin. Public transport services Skånetrafiken organise train services on several lines within Skåne, called Pågatåg, which are currently delivered under contract by Arriva. These are supplemented by the Öresundståg, regional train services managed by Skånetrafikken, which cross into Denmark and neighbouring counties in Sweden. This is a list of regional Skånetrafiken bus routes in Skåne County, Sweden - as well as adjacent counties, as some routes cross the border to nearby municipalities outside of the county. Skånetrafiken operates over 100 regular regional bus services, as well as seven express services called "SkåneExpressen". In addition, there are other routes that are operated only upon pre-order. Lund Tramway
The Lund tramway ( sv, Lunds spårväg) consists of a single double-track 9-stop tram line in Lund, Sweden. It connects Lund Central Station with the hospital, Lund University (LTH), Ideon Science Park, the new upcoming district of Brunnshög, the MAX IV synchrotron light source, and the European Spallation Source with a 15-minute tram ride. It is the fourth modern city tramway in Sweden and is operated by Skånetrafiken, which also operates the city and regional busses and trains. The first of the CAF-manufactured trams was delivered on 29 July 2020, and is named Åsa-Hanna after the 1918 novel of the same name by Lund-born Elin Wägner. Lund
Lund (, , ) is a city in the southern Swedish provinces of Sweden, province of Scania, across the Øresund, Öresund strait from Copenhagen. The town had 91,940 inhabitants out of a municipal total of 121,510 . It is the seat of Lund Municipality, Scania County. The Øresund Region, Öresund Region, which includes Lund, is home to more than 4.1 million people. Archeologists date the foundation of Lund to around 990, when Scania was part of Denmark. Landskrona
Landskrona (old da, Landskrone) is a town in Scania, Sweden. Located on the shores of the Öresund, it occupies a natural port, which has lent the town at first military and subsequent commercial significance. Ferries operate from Landskrona to the island of Ven, and for many years there was also a connection to Copenhagen. Landskrona is part of the Øresund region. It is the seat of Landskrona Municipality. Landskrona is also the name of a district in Landskrona Municipality which is slightly smaller than the urban area. History The city of Landskrona is usually claimed to have been founded in 1413 by the King of Denmark, Eric of Pomerania, as a trading city intended to compete with Danish towns under the control of the Hanseatic League. Ven, Sweden
Ven ( da, Hven, older Swedish spelling Hven) is a small Swedish island in the Øresund strait, between Scania and Zealand (Denmark). It is part of Landskrona Municipality, Scania County. The island has 371 inhabitants and an area of . During the 1930s, the population was at its peak, with approximately 1,300 inhabitants. There are four villages on the island: Bäckviken, Tuna By, Norreborg and Kyrkbacken. The island is best known as the location of Tycho Brahe's 16th-century observatories. Halland
Halland () is one of the traditional provinces of Sweden (''landskap''), on the western coast of Götaland, southern Sweden. It borders Västergötland, Småland, Scania and the sea of Kattegat.
