Skibstrup Railway Halt
Skibstrup halt is a railway halt serving the settlements of Skibstrup and Ellekilde on the coast of North Zealand, Denmark. The halt is located on the Hornbæk Line from Helsingør to Gilleleje. The train services are currently operated by the railway company Lokaltog which runs frequent local train services between Helsingør station and Gilleleje station. A train station, railway station, railroad station or depot is a Rail transport, railway facility where trains stop to load or unload passenger train, passengers, freight rail transport, freight or both. Ålsgårde
Ålsgårde is a former fishing village on the north coast of Zealand, Denmark, located six kilometer northwest of Helsingør. Formerly Ålsgårde was a separate town, but today it has merged with the neighbouring town of Hellebæk into an urban area with a population of 5,790 (1 January 2022). Notable buildings Rytterhuset (Nordre Strandvej 230) iwas built in 1889 as summer residence for the painter Frants Henningsen to a National Romantic design by Martin Nyrop. The property, including a jetty with a bathhouse and a couple of outbuildings, is now listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places. Nordre Strandvej 140, a half-timbered house from 1819, is also listed. Hellebæk Church is, in spite of its name, also located in Ålsgårde. Hornbæk Line
The Hornbæk Line ( da, Hornbækbanen) is a long standard gauge single track local passenger railway line north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It runs along the coast of Øresund between Helsingør and Gilleleje, through an area with many holiday homes. The name ''Hornbækbanen'' refers to the town Hornbæk about halfway between Helsingør and Gilleleje. The section from to opened in 1906, and the section from to in 1916. Lokaltog A/S ( en, Local Trains Ltd) is a Danish railway company responsible for train operation and related passenger services on nine local railways on the islands of Zealand, Lolland and Falster in Denmark. The company was formed on 1 July 2015 as a merger of Lokalbanen A/S and Regionstog A/S. Movia owns a part of Lokaltog, whereas buses are owned by companies, subcontractors, that are paid by this transit agency to drive according to contract. Railway lines Lokaltog is responsible for train operation and related passenger services on nine local railways with a combined length of on the islands of Zealand, Lolland and Falster. Skibstrup
Skibstrup is a settlement located on the coast between Helsingør and Hornbæk in North Zealand, Denmark. The original village has now merged with Hellebæk-Ålsgårde to the east. It is to the west bounded by Hornbæk Plantage. History The first known reference to Skibstrup is from 1519. The origins of the name is uncertain but it may means "The settlement by the ship". In 1681, Skibstrup consisted of seven tenant farms and two houses without land. All seven farms remained in the village in connection with the agricultural reforms of the 1780s. Their names were Skellebæk, Gørlunde, Tranager, Rosendal, Skadenborg (now called Viehøjgaard), Hagenberg and Aldersborg. They were all sold in 1797 but only Rosendal was moved out of the village. When the Hornbæk Railway opened in 1906, Skobstrup began to grow, first along the Kattegat coast and later inland. North Zealand
