Sircaim
Sircaim (or Sirsaim) is a village situated in the Bardez sub-district or ''taluka'' of Goa, which lies along the west-coast of India. It lies close to or within the mining belt of North Goa. It is home to a football academy for youth, and a jetty for iron-ore transportation. Though located in Bardez, it has also been involved in mining activities which are otherwise mainly based in Bicholim and other sub-districts of Goa. Area and population It has an area of 377 hectares, and 713 households. Its population of 2,850 comprises 1,442 males and 1,408 females. In the 0-6 age group, it has a population of 217 children, of whom 117 are male and 100 are female. Sesa Football Academy
Sesa Football Academy (SFA) is a football academy based in Sanquelim, Goa. Originally founded in the 1960s as Sesa Sports Club, its football team competes in the Goa Professional League, and previously participated in NFL II and I-League 2nd Division. SFA is a unit of Sesa Community Development Foundation, which is promoted by Vedanta Limited with the objective of service to the community in its operational areas. SFA began functioning in June 1999. All expenses including the academic studies are taken care of by the academy. Bardez
''Bardez'' ( kok, Bardes; pt, Bardes; IPA: ) is a ''taluka'' of the North Goa district in the Indian state of Goa. It was a ''concelho'' in the Portuguese State of India before 1961. Etymology The name is credited to the Saraswat Brahmin immigrants who emigrated to the Konkan via Magadha plains in northern India. Bardez, or more properly ''bara'' (twelve) ''desh'' (country), means "twelve countries" (or territories). Sancoale
Sancoale is a census town in South Goa district in the Indian state of Goa. It falls within the Sub-District of Mormugão and the Velhas Conquistas region. It is famous for being the hometown of Joseph Vaz, the patron saint of Sri Lanka.
