Sindre Bjørnestad Skar
Sindre Bjørnestad Skar (born 22 January 1992) is a Norwegian cross-country skier. At the 2011 Junior World Championships he won two gold medals, one in relay and one in 10 km. He then took one silver and three bronze medals at the 2012 Junior World Championships. He made his FIS Cross-Country World Cup debut in February 2011 in Drammen, where he also collected his first World Cup points with a 28th place finish. He later took his first top-10 placement with a tenth place in Lahti Lahti (; sv, Lahtis) is a city and municipality in Finland. The 2010–11 FIS Cross-Country World Cup was a multi-race tournament over the season for cross-country skiers. It was the 30th official World Cup season in cross-country skiing for men and women. The season began on 20 November 2010 in Gällivare, Sweden and ended on 20 March 2011 in Falun, Sweden. The World Cup was organised by the FIS who also run world cups and championships in ski jumping, snowboarding and alpine skiing amongst others. The 2014–15 FIS Cross-Country World Cup was the 34th official World Cup season in cross-country skiing for men and women. The season started on 29 November 2014 in Ruka, Finland and ended on 15 March 2015 in Oslo, Norway. The season's biggest event is FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2015. Changed results due to doping violation On 20 July 2016, Martin Johnsrud Sundby was banned from competing in ski competitions for two months by the FIS after having used an asthma medicine incorrectly during the 2014–15 season. He was also stripped of two results; a victory in 15 km C in Davos, 13 December 2014 and a third place in 25 km F Pursuit in Toblach, 8 January 2015. the latter also resulted in Sundby losing the Tour de Ski title.
