Sindh-Madrasa-tul-Islam
Sindh Madressatul Islam University ( ur, ; sd, سنڌ مدرسۃ الاسلام), also known as SMI University, is a university in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Founded in 1885, it is one of the oldest educational institutions in South Asia. History Sindh Madrasa was founded on 1 September 1885 by Hassan Ali Effendi, a Sindhi who settled in Karachi. James Ernest Strachan
James Ernest Strachan (20 April 1883 – 30 September 1973) was a New Zealand educator. He was born in Dunedin, New Zealand, in 1883. He was the principal of Rangiora High School from 1917–1948, during which time he abolished corporal punishment and the prefect system and introduced the school council, among others. Education In 1903, he entered the Dunedin Teachers' College. He also took classes at the University of Otago, graduating MA with honours in mental science in 1905. Allah Baksh Sarshar Uqaili
Allah Baksh Sarshar 'Uqaili was a Sufi poet from the Sindh province of Pakistan. Work Allah Bux published his first book, ''Ramooz-un-Nisa'' in 1920, his second in 1923, ''Dawat-e-Islam'', in 1924 ''Manasik-e-Hajj'' and in 1929 ''Khalid bin Walid''. During this time his poetry and articles used to appear in magazines like ''Al-Waheed'', Sindh Madarisa magazine, Al-Hafiz al-jamia Sindh College. He wrote in Urdu for the magazine ''Tasawuff'', published in Lahore under the pen name "Sarshar 'Uqaili". He also served as the editor of ''Al-Waheed'' newspaper for four years. Khan Bahadur Ghulam Nabi Kazi
Khan Bahadur Ghulam Nabi Kazi MBE (b: 1884 Naushero Feroze, British India – 1955) was an educator in Sindh, which is one of the four provinces of what is now Pakistan. He rose to the position of first Director of Public Instruction, Sindh after remaining Educational Inspector, Sindh in the Bombay Presidency during the British Empire. Family His father, Din Mohamed Kazi, was a highly notable personality of the area. He was closely related to the renowned intellectual Allama I. I. Kazi. Muhammad Ali Jinnah
Muhammad Ali Jinnah (, ; born Mahomedali Jinnahbhai; 25 December 1876 – 11 September 1948) was a barrister, politician, and the founder of Pakistan. Muhammad Ayub Khuhro
Muhammad Ayub Khuhro () (14 August 1901 – 1980) was a Pakistani politician who served as the Chief Minister of Sindh for three terms, and as the Defence Minister in the Feroz Khan Noon Ministry. In 1946, Khuhro was elected by the Sindh Provincial Assembly to be among the three members to represent the province in the Constituent Assembly of India but he abdicated attendance until the Mountbatten Plan sanctioned the creation of Pakistan and its own constituent assembly.
