Khan Bahadur Ghulam Nabi Kazi
Khan Bahadur Ghulam Nabi Kazi MBE (b: 1884 Naushero Feroze, British India – 1955) was an educator in Sindh, which is one of the four provinces of what is now Pakistan. He rose to the position of first Director of Public Instruction, Sindh after remaining Educational Inspector, Sindh in the Bombay Presidency during the British Empire. Family His father, Din Mohamed Kazi, was a highly notable personality of the area. He was closely related to the renowned intellectual Allama I. I. Kazi. Kazi was severely shocked when his wife Maryam was diagnosed as having cancer in 1942 by his cousin Dr Ali Ahmed S Kazi and her death devastated him. He died in 1955 and was survived by two sons A G N Kazi and Justice Bashir Ghulam Nabi Kazi, two daughters Khaki and Ayesha, married to Mumtaz Kazi and Ahmed Hussain A Kazi, respectively. Sindhis ( sd, سنڌي Perso-Arabic: सिन्धी Devanagari; ) are an Indo-Aryan ethnic group who speak the Sindhi language and are native to the province of Sindh in Pakistan. After the partition of British Indian empire in 1947, many Sindhi Hindus and Sindhi Sikhs migrated to the newly independent Dominion of India and other parts of the world. Umar Bin Mohammad Daudpota (25 March 1896 – 22 November 1958) ( sd, عمر بن محمد داؤد پوٽو; ur, عمر بن محمد داؤد پوتہ ) was a researcher, historian, linguist and scholar of the Indus Valley. Life Daudpota was born on 25 March 1896 at Talti, Dadu District. His family was poor. His father, Mohammad Daudpota, was a farmer and Carpenter. His primary education was in his hometown. For secondary education, he went to Larkana in 1914 and later to the Madressah school of Naushahro Feroze. Eventually, he matriculated from Sindh-Madrasa-tul-Islam in Karachi. He got first position in 1917. After passing his Matriculation, he went to D. J. Science College, Sindh at Karachi, where he received his BA and MA degrees. Lancelot Graham
Sir Lancelot Graham, KCSI, KCIE (1880–1958) was an Indian civil servant during the British Raj. He served as the first Governor of Sind from 1 April 1936 to 31 March 1941. During his governorship, in order to encourage notables of the province, letters of appreciation were issued to various politicians and landlords of Sind for their public service to their territories and the country as a whole. One of his principal advisers was Sir Shah Nawaz Bhutto, father of the later prime minister of Pakistan Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
