Simple Plan Discography
Canadian rock band, Simple Plan, formed in 1999, has released six studio albums, two live albums, one video album, three extended plays and twenty singles. In 2002, they released their first album '' No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls'', which soon became a moderate commercial success and was certified multi-platinum in Canada and the United States and platinum in Australia. Of the four singles released, "Perfect" was the most successful, reaching the fifth position on the Canadian Hot 100, the sixth on the ARIA Singles Chart and the twenty-fourth on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. In 2003, they released their first and so far only video album ''A Big Package for You'' and the live album ''Live in Japan 2002'', which was released only in Canada and Japan in 2003. In 2004, they released the EP ''Live in Anaheim'' and their second studio album '' Still Not Getting Any...''. The album outsold its predecessor in all countries except the US. Simple Plan
Simple Plan is a Canadian rock band from Montreal, Quebec, formed in 1999. The band's lineup consists of Pierre Bouvier (lead vocals, studio bass guitar), Chuck Comeau (drums), Jeff Stinco (lead guitar), and Sébastien Lefebvre (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), with all four performing with the group since its inception. David Desrosiers (bass guitar, backing vocals) joined the band in early 2000 and departed in July 2020 due to sexual misconduct accusations. Jet Lag (song)
"Jet Lag" a song by Canadian rock band Simple Plan. It was released on April 25, 2011, as the second single from their fourth studio album ''Get Your Heart On!''. Coeur de Pirate co-wrote the song with Simple Plan and a demo was recorded with her voice. Four official versions exist, one featuring British singer Natasha Bedingfield providing guest vocals in English, another one featuring French-Canadian singer Marie-Mai, providing guest vocals in French; a version in Chinese featuring Chinese pop singer Kelly Cha, and an Indonesian version featuring Kotak lead vocalist Tantri Syalindri. Critical reception In a review in the ''Entertainment Weekly'' magazine, the song received a "B+" rating. The review commented that the song is a "surprisingly lovely pop-punk pounder about intercontinental relationships." UK Albums Chart
The Official Albums Chart is a list of albums ranked by physical and digital sales and (from March 2015) audio streaming in the United Kingdom. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on UKChartsPlus as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders. However, even though number 100 was classed as a hit album (as in the case of The Guinness Book of British Hit Albums) in the 1980s until January 1989, since the compilations were removed this definition was changed to Top 75 with follow-up books such as The Virgin Book of British Hit Albums book only including this data. Sverigetopplistan (, lit. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and known by its current name since October 2007, based on sales data from the Swedish Recording Industry Association (in Swedish Grammofonleverantörernas förening). Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list. History For the period of 1976 to 2006, the official Swedish music charts were published by Sveriges Radio P3, a station owned by Sveriges Radio. The Official New Zealand Music Chart ( mi, Te Papa Tātai Waiata Matua o Aotearoa) is the weekly New Zealand top 40 singles and albums charts, issued weekly by Recorded Music NZ (formerly Recording Industry Association of New Zealand). The Music Chart also includes the top-20 New Zealand artist singles and albums and top 10 compilation albums. All charts are compiled from data of both physical and digital sales from music retailers in New Zealand. Methodology The singles chart is currently sales and streaming data of songs. The Dutch Album Top 100 or Album Top 100 is a weekly hit list of music albums, compiled by Dutch Charts. List shows the 100 best-selling music albums of the moment in the Netherlands. The list has passed through various name changes and has expanded from a Top 10 to a Top 100. Names Album chart by ''Stichting Nederlandse Top 40'' From 1969 to 1999, an alternative weekly album chart was published by offshore radio station Radio Veronica (1969-1974) and the '' Stichting Nederlandse Top 40'' (1974-1999). This chart varied in length from a top 20 (1969-1971 and from 1972 to 1974) to a top 50 (1971-1972 and 1974–1985), a top 75 (1985-1991) and a top 100 (1991-1999). , established in 1999, is the holding company at the head of a Japanese corporate group that supplies statistics and information on music and the music industry in Japan and Western music. It started as, which was founded by Sōkō Koike in November 1967 and became known for its music charts. Oricon Inc. was originally set up as a subsidiary of Original Confidence and took over the latter's Oricon record charts in April 2002. The charts are compiled from data drawn from some 39,700 retail outlets (as of April 2011) and provide sales rankings of music CDs, DVDs, electronic games, and other entertainment products based on weekly tabulations. Ö3 Austria Top 40 is the official Austrian singles chart, as well as the radio show which presents it, aired Tuesdays on Hitradio Ö3. The show presents the Austrian singles, ringtones and downloads chart. It premiered on 26 November 1968 as ''Disc Parade'' and was presented by Ernst Grissemann. Music recording certifications are typically awarded by the worldwide music industry based on the total units sold, streamed, or shipped to retailers.
