Simon Neal
Simon Nicholas Neal (born 2 January 1972) is a former English cricketer. Neal was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium pace and who occasionally played as a wicketkeeper. He was born in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. Neal represented the Nottinghamshire Cricket Board in a single List A match against Scotland in the 1st round of the 1999 NatWest Trophy. 1999 NatWest Trophy
The 1999 NatWest Trophy was the 19th NatWest Trophy. It was an English limited overs county cricket tournament which was held between 4 May and 29 August 1999. The tournament was won by Gloucestershire who defeated Somerset by 50 runs in the final at Lord's. Format For the 1999 season, radical changes were made to the structure and format of the competition. Each side's innings was reduced from 60 overs per side to 50, in order to bring the county one-day game in line with the format of One Day Internationals.
