Simas Jasaitis
Simas Jasaitis (born 26 March 1982) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for BC Dzūkija of the Lietuvos krepšinio lyga, Lithuania Basketball League (LKL). He also represented the Lithuania men's national basketball team, Lithuanian national basketball team. Professional career Jasaitis' first team in the Lietuvos krepšinio lyga, LKL was BC Sakalai, Sakalai during the 2000-2001 season. In the fall of 2001 he moved to BC Lietuvos rytas, Lietuvos rytas, and played there till 2006. In his first season with the club he was averaging 8 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. Jasaitis returned to Lietuvos Rytas on 31 December 2010. In July 2011 he signed a one-year deal with Türk Telekom B.K. On January 5, 2015 he went back to Lietuvos rytas. On July 5, 2016, he signed with Victoria Libertas Pesaro. On July 28, 2017 Jasaitis signed with BC Lietkabelis. On September 12, 2020, he signed with BC Dzūkija. Joventut Badalona
Club Joventut Badalona, S.A.D. () is a Spanish professional basketball club based in Badalona, Catalonia, Spain, playing in the Liga ACB and the EuroCup. BC Dzūkija
BC Dzūkija ( lt, Krepšinio klubas Dzūkija) was a basketball club located in Alytus, Lithuania. It was founded in 2012 and participated in the Lietuvos krepšinio lyga (LKL). It was the newest basketball club based in Alytus after BC Alita and BC Alytus were dissolved. The club was bought by Lithuanian businessman Gediminas Žiemelis in June 2022, who formed BC Wolves soon after. History In 2019, the club changed its name to Sintek-Dzūkija for sponsorship reasons. The 2007 FIBA European Championship, commonly called FIBA EuroBasket 2007, was the 35th FIBA EuroBasket regional basketball championship held by FIBA Europe, which also served as Europe qualifier for the 2008 Summer Olympics, giving a berth to the champion and runner-up teams (or to the third-placed team in case Spain should reach the final). EuroBasket, also commonly referred to as the European Basketball Championship, is the main international basketball competition that is contested quadrennially, by the senior men's national teams that are governed by FIBA Europe, which is the European zone within the International Basketball Federation. Baltic Basketball League (BBL) was the Baltic states basketball league founded in 2004. The league mainly focused on teams from the Baltic states, but teams from Sweden, Russia, Kazakhstan, Finland, and Belarus have participated in the Baltic League. LKL All-Star Game
The LKL All-Star Game is the All-Star Game of the professional Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL). The game is held once every year. The participants of the game are chosen in two ways: the first is via fan ballot, with the leading vote recipients at each position starting the game; secondly the reserves are chosen by a vote among the head coaches of each squad. Coaches are not allowed to vote for their own players. If a player is injured, and cannot participate, the league's commissioner will select a replacement. Features The All-Star Game is played under normal FIBA rules, but there are notable differences from an average game.
