Silvia Truu
Silvia Truu (full name Silvia Astrid Truu, until 1936 Koch, until 1941 Koht; 16 December 1922 – 5 May 1990) was an Estonian children's writer. She was born in Paldiski. She worked at several newspapers' offices: ''Rahva Hääl'', '' Noorte Hääl'' and ''Nõukogude Naine''. From 1965 she was a professional writer. Since 1973 she was a member of Estonian Writers' Union. She died in Tallinn, and she is buried at Forest Cemetery. She had two daughters – architect Meeli Truu Meeli Truu (27 April 1946 — 7 August 2013) was an Estonian architect. Paldiski
Paldiski is a town and Baltic Sea port situated on the Pakri Peninsula of northwestern Estonia. Since 2017, it's the administrative centre of Lääne-Harju Parish of Harju County. Previously a village of Estonia-Swedes known by the historical name ''Rågervik'', it was extended into a Russian naval base in the 18th century. The Russian authorities renamed it ''Балтийский Порт'' ("Baltiyskiy Port", i.e., Baltic Port, german: Baltisch-Port) in 1762. ''Rahva Hääl'' (lit. ''The People's Voice'') was the official daily newspaper of the Communist Party of Estonia during Soviet occupation of Estonia. Metsakalmistu
Metsakalmistu (meaning ''Forest Cemetery'') is a cemetery in the Pirita district of Tallinn. Metsakalmistu was originally planned to be a public medieval cemetery. Eduard Vilde was the first to be buried in 1933. The original area of the cemetery was 24.2 hectares, but has since expanded to be 48.3 hectares. Metsakalmistu was officially opened in 1939. That same year, 15 people were buried in the cemetery. In 1939, the nearby Kloostrimetsa Farm cemetery was created, which eventually, through expansion, became part of an expanded Metsakalmistu. At first, the designers of the cemetery were unanimous about the general design requirements of the cemetery, but the area was still dominated by the appearance of a wild forest.
