''Sila Nerangalil Sila Manidhargal'' () is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language drama hyperlink film written and directed by debutant Vishal Venkat and produced by AR Entertainment and Trident Arts. The film stars Ashok Selvan in lead role with Nassar, K. Manikandan, Abi Hassan, Anju Kurian , Reyya, K. S. Ravikumar, Riythvika and Sivamaran in supporting roles. The film's music is composed by Radhan, with cinematography handled by Meyyendiran and editing done by Prasanna GK. Ashok Selvan
Ashok Selvan is an Indian actor who works prominently in Tamil cinema. He made his breakthrough playing one of the lead roles in ''Soodhu Kavvum'' (2013), before gaining critical acclaim for his performances in C. V. Kumar's productions '' Pizza II: Villa (2013)'' and ''Thegidi'' (2014). His recent blockbuster is '' Oh My Kadavule'' (2020). ''Sila Nerangalil Sila Manithargal'' () is a Tamil-language novel by Jayakanthan. It is an expanded version of his 1968 short story ''Agnipravesam'' () with a different ending. The novel, serialised in 1970 in '' Dinamani Kathir'', won the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1972. A sequel, ''Gangai Enge Pogiral'', was published in 1978. The novel was translated into Malayalam as ''Chila Samayangalil Chila Manushyar'' by C. A. Balan. It was adapted into a Tamil feature film by the same name (1977), and a Malayalam television series ''Chila Nerangalil Chila Manushyar'' (2011).
