Chinmayi Sripaada is an Indian playback singer, working mainly for the South Indian film industry. She is also a voice actor, television presenter, radio jockey, and an entrepreneur. She is the founder and CEO of a translation services company ''Blue Elephant'', a Skincare company importing K-beauty to India - ''Isle Of Skin'', and a medi-spa ''Deep Skin Dialogues'' in Chennai and Hyderabad. ''Sivaji: The Boss'' is the soundtrack album composed by A. R. Rahman for the film Sivaji: The Boss, of the same name directed by S. Shankar, starring Rajinikanth and Shriya Saran and produced by AVM Productions. Album information Unofficial version As ''Sivaji'' became a major anticipated project, several false rumours about the soundtrack of the film were disseminated to websites and magazines. Despite the fact that early on during the project, Vairamuthu confirmed he had written a song called "Vaa..ji Vaa..ji Sivaji", no other major details about any other song was mentioned. Rumours went around that certain singers had sung in the project, including Rajinikanth. Rahul Ravindran
Rahul Ravindran (born 23 June 1981) is an Indian actor, director, and screenwriter who works in Telugu films. He made his lead debut in the Tamil film '' Moscowin Kavery'' (2010), before playing leading roles as a man with cerebral palsy in '' Vinmeengal'' and as a mechanic in '' Soorya Nagaram''. He made his Telugu film debut with ''Andala Rakshasi'' (2012) and went on to make a career as a leading actor in the Telugu film industry. ''Kannathil Muthamittal'' (also released internationally under the translated title ''A Peck on the Cheek'') is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language musical war film produced and directed by Mani Ratnam. It was based on a short story, "Amuthavum Avanum" by Sujatha. The film stars R. Madhavan, Simran and P. S. Keerthana with Nandita Das, J. D. Mayya (song)
"Mayya" is a popular Hindi song from the 2007 Hindi film ''Guru''. It was composed by A. R. Rahman, performed by Maryem Toller, Chinmayee, Keerthi Sagathia and written by Gulzar. Apart from the film's soundtrack, it also appeared in the compilation album, ''A. R. Rahman – A World of Music'' released in 2009. The song was also released in Tamil and Telugu. Development Rahman personally trained Egyptian singer Maryem Tollar to sing "Mayya", a song which Rahman wrote while on Hajj in Makkah. After he heard a man near a river who was continually repeating "moya moya moya" (water in Arabic), he told Gulzar to incorporate the word into the tune he had created while touring in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Mayya was the first song recorded for the film. Reception The song received excellent critical reviews, most of them hailing the international appeal of the song. "Tere Bina" is a 2006 Hindi song from the 2007 Hindi film ''Guru''. It was composed by A. R. Rahman, performed by Rahman, Murtuza Khan, Quadir Khan and Chinmayi and written by Gulzar. It is a love ballad composed in sufi style of music. It is dedicated to the memory of Pakistani qawwali singer Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan written at the time of the tenth anniversary of his death. ''Guru'' is a 2007 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed and co-written by Mani Ratnam. It stars Mithun Chakraborty, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Madhavan, Vidya Balan and Roshan Seth. The score and soundtrack for the film was composed by A. R. Rahman. Incidentally, Mithun Chakraborty also previously acted in a 1989 film of the same name in Hindi, as well as a 2003 film of the same name in Bengali. The film was rumored to be a biopic of the industrial tycoon Dhirubhai Ambani, but Ratnam refuted the claims, clarifying it was a work of fiction.
