Sierra Leone Airways was the national airline of Sierra Leone. It was based at the Lungi International Airport, in Lungi, Sierra Leone. It operated scheduled domestic, regional and international services. Banjul International Airport, also known as Yundum International , is the international airport of Banjul, capital of the Gambia, built during World War II. History The only airport in Gambia is at Yundum. After World War II, Yundum airport was used for passenger flights.
