Siegfried Nagl (born 18 April 1963, in Graz) is an Austrian politician with the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). He was mayor of Graz from 2003 to 2021. He was one of the many witnesses to the 2015 Graz van attack that killed three and injured more than 30. The Austrian People's Party (german: Österreichische Volkspartei , ÖVP ) is a Christian-democratic and liberal-conservative political party in Austria. Since December 2021, the party has been led provisionally by Karl Nehammer. 2015 Graz Van Attack
On 20 June 2015, Alen Rizvanović drove a sports utility vehicle at high speeds through the center of Graz, Austria, killing three people in a matter of minutes and injuring 36 others, some of them seriously. At one point during the attack, Rizvanović got out of the vehicle and stabbed passersby. He was later arrested by police.
