Sid Ahmed Aouadj
Sid Ahmed Aouadj ( ar, سيد احمد عواج; born July 2, 1991, in Oran) is an Algerian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Al-Diriyah. Club career On May 13, 2010, Aouadj made his professional debut for MC Oran in a league game against WA Tlemcen. He started the game before being subbed off in the 64th minute. On 5 August 2021, Aouadj joined Saudi Arabian club Al-Kholood. On 6 July 2023, Aouadj joined Al-Diriyah. International career On November 2, 2010, Aouadj was called up to the Algerian Under-23 National Team for a pair of friendlies against Tunisia. Oran ( ar, وَهران, Wahrān) is a major coastal city located in the north-west of Algeria. 2011 CAF U-23 Championship
The 2011 African U-23 Championship was the first edition of the football tournament for players under 23 years. It was originally scheduled to be hosted by Egypt from 26 November to 10 December 2011. However, less than two months prior to the start of the tournament, Egyptian authorities decided against hosting the competition because of security concerns. On 13 October 2011, Morocco was chosen as the replacement to host the tournament. The tournament also doubles up as the qualifiers for the 2012 Summer Olympics. The top 3 placed teams qualified automatically for the 2012 Summer Olympics football tournament, while the 4th best placed team qualify for a play-off with an AFC counterpart. The World Military Cup is a football competition for national military teams. It is organized by the International Military Sports Council (CISM). The tournament has been held since 1946 and was originally called the World Military Championship. The name changed for the 2001 edition. When the multi-sport Military World Games was set up in 1995, the football championship was incorporated into it, but it is still being held independently every two years. The 2011 Military World Games ( pt, Jogos Mundiais Militares de 2011), officially known as the 5th CISM Military World Games ( pt, V Jogos Mundiais Militares do CISM), was hosted from July 15–24, 2011 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Algeria Olympic Football Team
The Algeria national under-23 football team represents Algeria in international football competitions including the Olympic Games. The selection is limited to players under the age of 23, except during the Olympic Games where the use of three overage players is allowed. The team is controlled by the Algerian Football Federation.
