''Shivam'' is a 2015 Indian Kannada action thriller film written and directed by Srinivas Raju and starring Upendra, Saloni Aswani, and Ragini Dwivedi in the lead roles. The supporting cast features Makarand Deshpande, Sharath Lohitashwa, P. Ravi Shankar, Srinivasa Murthy. The film opened on the screens on 2 January 2015 to good reviews from the critics. The film was dubbed and released in Telugu as ''Brahmana'' in 2016. Dodda Basavana Gudi (the Nandhi Temple) is situated in Bull Temple Road, Basavanagudi, area of South Bengaluru, part of the largest city of the Indian state of Karnataka.
