The Shit Hits the Sheds was a concert tour by the American heavy metal band Metallica, which took place in 1994. The band played in 51 shows in North America, including a performance at Woodstock '94, which had an attendance of over 300,000 people. Overview This tour is also known for the debut of the song " The God That Failed", and Lars Ulrich's down-scaled drum kits. According to Ulrich's interview on guitar center in 2014, two rack toms were removed from his original drum setup, thus allowing the hi-hat cymbal and ride cymbal to be placed nearer to him and making his drum kit easier to play. Metallica is an American heavy metal band. The band was formed in 1981 in Los Angeles by vocalist/guitarist James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ulrich, and has been based in San Francisco for most of its career. Fight (band)
Fight was a heavy metal band formed in Phoenix, Arizona by British vocalist Rob Halford following his departure from Judas Priest in 1992. Biography Halford began writing material in 1991 after being freshly inspired by Pantera's sound during their tour supporting the album ''Cowboys From Hell''. The initial intention was for his solo project to be briefly short while remaining a member for Judas Priest, but their relationship worsened in 1992 and Halford was no longer in the band in September of that year. Halford then started the Fight band and recruited drummer Scott Travis, despite Travis still being Judas Priest's member. The line-up was completed by guitarists Russ Parrish and Brian Tilse and bassist Jack "Jay Jay" Brown. Fight released the debut album '' War of Words'' in 1993. "Breadfan" is a song by Welsh heavy metal band Budgie, appearing on their 1973 album ''Never Turn Your Back on a Friend''. The title of the song refers to a person's relationship to money, with "bread" being a slang term for money. The lyrics further highlight the moral dilemmas on what to do with money; keep it, give it away, spend it and to be ultimately free of it and not to let it rule a life. The song is featured in the video game ''Brütal Legend'' and its introduction used in Brazilian television sports news programme ''Globo Esporte''. Jerry Fulton Cantrell Jr. (born March 18, 1966) is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter. He is best known as the founder, lead guitarist, co-lead vocalist, and main songwriter of the rock band Alice in Chains. The band rose to international fame in the early 1990s during Seattle's grunge movement, and is known for its distinctive vocal style and the harmonized vocals between Cantrell and Layne Staley (and later Cantrell and William DuVall). The Offspring is an American rock band from Garden Grove, California, formed in 1984. Candlebox is an American rock band from Seattle, Washington. Since its formation in 1990, the group has released seven studio albums, several charting singles, a compilation, and a CD+DVD.
