Breadfan
"Breadfan" is a song by Welsh heavy metal band Budgie, appearing on their 1973 album ''Never Turn Your Back on a Friend''. The title of the song refers to a person's relationship to money, with "bread" being a slang term for money. The lyrics further highlight the moral dilemmas on what to do with money; keep it, give it away, spend it and to be ultimately free of it and not to let it rule a life. The song is featured in the video game ''Brütal Legend'' and its introduction used in Brazilian television sports news programme ''Globo Esporte''. The original version had an initial 17 second excerpt of Winston Churchill's speech at the Mansion House on November 10, 1942, citing the words: "I have never promised anything but blood, tears, toil and sweat". Damaged Justice was the fourth concert tour by the American heavy metal band Metallica. It began on September 11, 1988, and ended on October 8, 1989. The name is believed to be inspired either by the cover of its fourth studio album '' ...And Justice for All'', or by the song "Damage, Inc." from the group's previous album, ''Master of Puppets''. Budgie were a Welsh heavy metal music, heavy metal band from Cardiff. The band formed in 1967, and the following year recorded a demo; in 1971, their first album (of blues-oriented hard rock), produced by Rodger Bain, was released by MCA Records, MCA. The band, a classic power trio with the occasional keyboard player, released ten albums, with MCA, A&M Records, A&M, and RCA Records, RCS, between 1971 and 1982, attracting a fair number of fans and achieving modest commercial success. "Harvester of Sorrow" is a song by the American heavy metal band Metallica. It was released on August 28, 1988, as the first single from their fourth studio album, '' ...And Justice for All'' (1988). The song debuted at a live performance prior to the release of ''...And Justice for All'' while the band was on the summer Monsters of Rock Tour in 1988 with Van Halen, Scorpions, Dokken and Kingdom Come. The single contained two B-sides, both of which were cover songs: "Breadfan", originally by Budgie, and "The Prince", originally by Diamond Head. Lyrically, the song concerns imposed limitations on freedom of speech and freedom of expression in general. "Eye of the Beholder" is notable for its chorus section containing time played, not as an ordinary compound quadruple time, but as a syncopated rhythm. The rest of the song is a more conventional rhythm at a slower tempo than that seen on Metallica's previous three albums. The song has not been performed live in its entirety since 1989.
