U-KISS ( ko, 유키스; ja, ユーキス) is a South Korean boy band formed in 2008. Their name is an acronym, standing for Ubiquitous Korean International Idol Super Star. The group's current lineup is composed of Soohyun, Hoon, Kiseop and Jun. Their breakthrough hit was "Man Man Ha Ni" (2009) from their EP ''ContiUKiss''. They released their first full-length album, ''Only One'', on February 3, 2010. In September 2011, U-KISS released their second full-length album, ''Neverland''. They made their formal debut in Japan in 2011 with the release of the single "Tick Tack". Their second Japanese single was "Forbidden Love", while their first Japanese full-length album was ''A Shared Dream'' (2012). ''A Shared Dream'' is the debut Japanese studio album by South Korean boy band U-KISS, released on February 29, 2012 by Avex Trax. Background and development In May 2011, U-KISS formally signed under Avex Japan for their Japanese debut. Soon thereafter, an album entitled ''First Kiss'', a compilation of all their songs from their debut Korean album up until their '' Break Time'' album, was released. A Japanese version of their Korean ''Bran New Kiss'' albums and their DVDs from their ''First Kiss Live in Osaka'' event were also released. On June 8, 2011, U-KISS went to stay in Japan for three months to prepare for their official Japanese debut. ''Break Time'' is the fourth Korean extended play by South Korean band U-KISS, released on October 4, 2010. The lead single was "Shut Up!!". It is the last EP by U-KISS to feature members Alexander Lee Eusebio and Kim Ki-bum. Release and reception The physical CD was released in South Korea October 4, 2010. Digital downloads were available worldwide that same day. It proceeded to be released in the Philippines March 24, 2011. The original single for the EP was originally supposed to be "Light It Up", composed by Kim Tae-wan, but upon hearing Kim Tae-hyun's "Shut Up!!" (시끄러!!; ''Siggeureo!!''), the group shifted to use the latter instead. The song was recorded at More Than Present's studio in Seoul, Korea in August, 2010, and is based on hardcore electronic sounds while emphasizing performance factors. Soribada
Soribada ( ko, 소리바다) was the first Korean peer-to-peer file-sharing service, launched in 2000 by Sean Yang. The name 'Soribada' means "Ocean of Sound" or "Receiving (downloading) Sound". It was closed in 2002 by court order but continued to be distributed with a stipulation that its users were responsible for any of the files downloaded. On November 5, 2003, Soribada was relaunched as and in July 2004, the website was renewed as a P2P search portal with a paid MP3 service in December 2004. It remains the most widely used P2P system in Korea. The most recent version of Soribada is Soribada 6, which is downloadable on their website. A mini-LP or mini-album is a short vinyl record album or LP, usually retailing at a lower price than an album that would be considered full-length. Mnet (acronym of Music Network) is a South Korean pay television music channel owned by CJ E&M, a division of CJ ENM, part of CJ Group. The CJ E&M Center Studio located in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul is the broadcast and recording centre of many Mnet programs with a studio audience, namely the live weekly music show '' M Countdown''.
