Shin Sekaï
The Shin Sekaï is a French singing / rapping fusion duo made up of Dadju (vocals) and Abou Tall (rap). The band's name means "New World" in Japanese (新世界, ), and was taken from a fictional territory in the popular manga series ''One Piece''. Shin Sekaï were signed to French independent label Wati B. They released two mixtapes in 2015 2013 and 2014 and an album ''Indéfini'' in 2016. After break-up, Dadju released his solo album ''Gentleman 2.0'', whereas Abou Tall is releasing his solo album ''DLDLVL''. Wati B () is an independent French record label established in 2000 by Dawala and rap band Intouchable. "Wati B" comes from , a Bamanankan expression that means "all the time". Dawala directs the operations of the label. Due to the popularity of its signed acts across the French-speaking world, Wati B established its own "Wati B" line of fashion apparel with the first "Wati Boutique" opened on 1 February 2011 in Paris. Dadju Djuna Nsungula (; born 2 May 1991), better known by the mononym Dadju or at times Prince Dadj, is a French singer. He was signed to the label Wati B and in 2017 signed with Polydor Records of Universal Music Group. He was a member of the musical formation Shin Sekaï alongside rapper Abou Tall from 2012 to 2016. The duo was part of the label Wati B and released the album ''Indéfini''. The duo announced that they were breaking up so they can each follow solo careers. Gandhi Bilel Djuna (; born 6 May 1986), better known by his stage name Maître Gims () and more recently just Gims (, ; sometimes stylized as GIMS), is a Congolese-French rapper, singer and songwriter.
