Shetta
Nurdin Bilal Ali (born July 16, 1990), better known by his stage name SHETTA, is currently one of the most successful music artists in Tanzania, with a number of his songs reaching peak positions on various music charts in the country and across the African continent. His single "Namjua" dominated several charts at peak position for several weeks in a row in 2016. The song's video had one million views on YouTube as of 2016. Early life Shetta was born at Amana Hospital, Ilala Municipality in the city of Dar es Salaam. He grew up at Ilala Mchikichini Boma and attended his primary education at Boma Primary School before joining Benjamin Mkapa Secondary School in 2008. Music career Shetta discovered his music talents in 2009, when he was a dancer in a local group called Misifa Camp, under a popular singer and producer, Dully Sykes, for whom Shetta later became a backup singer. Bill Nass
William Nicholaus Lyimo (born 11 April 1993), popularly known by his stage name Bill Nass, is a Tanzanian rapper of Chagga heritage, he was born in Tanga, Tanga Region. MTV Base named him among the "50 Artists To Watch For In 2017". He is currently based in Dar es Salaam. Months after the release of his debut single "Raha", Lyimo was nominated on 2015's Kilimanjaro Tanzania Music Awards (KTMA) as a "New Best Artist". Richard Martin Lusinga (born 26 October 1990), known professionally as Rich Mavoko, is a Tanzanian singer and songwriter. He was initially signed to 'King Kaka Records' in 2016, a record label founded by Kenyan rapper King Kaka, and later to WCB Wasafi. Some of his most widely known songs include 'Kokoro' featuring Diamond Platnumz, 'Rudi' featuring Patoranking, 'Show Me' featuring Harmonize, and 'Bad Boy' featuring A.Y. Dully Sykes
Dully Sykes (born Abdul Sykes on 4 December 1980) is a Tanzanian musician who sings majorly in the bongo flava genre. Biography Also known as Mr Misifa or Mr Chicks, Dully Sykes is a bongo flava artist from Tanzania, the grand son of Abdulwahid Sykes. He has performed in the UK and he is one of the pioneers of Swahili dancehall in the African Great Lakes region, and is widely known for hits like "Julieta", "Salome", "Historia ya Kweli" and "Leah".
