Shemar Franklin Moore (born April 20, 1970) is an American actor. His notable roles include Malcolm Winters on ''The Young and the Restless'' (1994–2005), Derek Morgan on ''Criminal Minds'' (2005–2016), and the lead role of Sergeant II Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson on ''S.W.A.T.'' (2017–present) all on CBS. Moore was also the third permanent host of ''Soul Train'', from 1999 to 2003. Moore has won eight NAACP Image Awards as well as the 2000 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his work on ''The Young and the Restless''. Shamar Sands (born 30 April 1985) is a Bahamian track and field athlete who specialises in the 110 metres hurdles. Shamar Irvin Stephen ( ; born February 25, 1991) is an American football defensive end who is a free agent. He played college football at UConn. He was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the seventh round, 220th overall, of the 2014 NFL Draft. He has also played for the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos.
