Shangdu Subdistrict () is a subdistrict of Xinhua County in Hunan, China China, officially the People's Republic of China (PRC), is a country in East Asia. The subdistrict was incorporated through the amalgamation of the former Shangdu Office, three villages of Youjia Town and six villages and a community of Caojia Town on November 6, 2017. It has an area of with a population of 50,200 (as of 2017). The subdistrict has nine villages and seven communities under its jurisdiction, its seat is at ''East Shangmei Road'' (). Xinhua County
Xinhua County () is a county and the 4th most populous county-level division in the Province of Hunan, China; it is under the administration of Loudi City. Located along the middle reaches of the Zi River, it covers 3,635 square kilometers and has a population of 1,291,626 (2002). Xinhua shares the border with Lengshuijiang, Lianyuan, Xinshao, Xupu and Longhui counties and cities. As a county, it was founded at 1072 (Northern Song Dynasty) and now it is under jurisdiction of the Loudi City and subdivided into 7 townships and 19 towns, Shangmei is the county seat. The economy of Xinhua County is primarily agricultural, with 1.16 million of Xinhua County's population of 1.28 million working in agriculture. Youjia
Youjia Town () is a town of Xinhua County in Hunan, China. The town is located in the central part of the county, it is bordered by Menggong Town and Youxi Township to the north, by Caojia Town to the east, by the subdistrict of Shangmei and Luguan Town to the south, by Xihe Town to the west. Caojia Town () is a town of Xinhua County in Hunan, China. The town was reformed through the amalgamation of the four townships of ''Niangjia'' (), ''Shenli'' (), ''Xiaoyang'' () and ''Shuijiang'' () in 1995.
