Shane Moloney
Shane Moloney (born 4 March 1993) is an Irish hurler who plays as a corner-forward for the Galway senior team. At club level he plays with Tynagh-Abbey/Duniry. Moloney captained Galway as they won the All-Ireland title in 2011 where he scored 1-9 in the final against Dublin. On 16 August 2015, he came on as a substitute with five minutes remaining in Galway's All-Ireland Senior Hurling Semi-final against Tipperary. With the game into the last of the three minutes of stoppage time, Moloney scored the winning point to put Galway into the final. On 3 September 2017, Moloney came on as a substitute for Galway in the second half as they won their first All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship in 29 years against Waterford. Galway
Galway ( ; ga, Gaillimh, ) is a City status in Ireland, city in the West Region, Ireland, West of Ireland, in the Provinces of Ireland, province of Connacht, which is the county town of County Galway. 2017 National Hurling League
The 2017 National Hurling League was the 86th season of the National Hurling League for county teams. Clare were the defending champions, winning the title for the first time since 1977–78 after a 1–23 to 2–19 win against Waterford in a replay on 8 May 2016. Eir Sport (formerly Setanta) and TG4 provide live coverage of the league on Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons respectively, with highlights shown on ''GAA 2017'' during the week. Bill Maher (hurler)
Bill Maher (born 21 January 1994) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling and Gaelic football with his local club Kilsheelan–Kilcash and with the Tipperary senior inter-county team since 2015 and Tipperary senior football team since 2016. Bill made the move to New York in late 2021 and joined up with the Brooklyn Shamrocks GFC club playing under the guidance of Tommy McConvey. Career Maher captained Tipperary to win the 2012 All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship, defeating Dublin in the final on a 2-18 to 1-11 scoreline. He made his championship debut for the Tipperary hurlers on 21 June 2015 against Limerick in the 2015 Munster Senior Hurling Championship. All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship
The GAA Hurling All-Ireland Minor Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Electric Ireland GAA Hurling All-Ireland Minor Championship) is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players under the age of 17 in Ireland and has been contested every year - except for a three-year absence during the Emergency - since 1928. The final, currently held on the third Sunday in August, is the culmination of a series of games played during July and August, with the winning team receiving the Irish Press Cup. The qualification procedures for the championship have changed several times throughout its history. Cillian Buckley
Cillian Buckley (born 14 July 1992) is an Irish hurler who plays for Kilkenny Senior Championship club Dicksboro and at inter-county level with the Kilkenny senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a left wing-back. Playing career St Kieran's College During his schooling at St Kieran's College in Kilkenny, Buckley established himself as a key member of the senior hurling team. In 2010 he won his first Leinster medal following a 3-13 to 1-11 defeat of Dublin Colleges. On 3 April 2010 St Kieran's faced Ardscoil Rís in the All-Ireland decider. Paul Killeen (hurler)
Paul Killeen (born 24 June 1994) is an Irish hurler who plays as a right corner-back for club side Tynagh-Abbey/Duniry and at inter-county level with the Galway senior hurling team. Playing career College Killeen first came to prominence as a hurler with Portumna Community School. After playing in every grade of hurling during his tenure there, he eventually played in the Connacht Championship with the senior team. University As a student at the Limerick Institute of Technology, Killeen was a regular player on the university's senior hurling team in the Fitzgibbon Cup. Daithí Burke (born 16 November 1992) is an Irish hurler and Gaelic footballer who plays at senior level for the Galway county hurling team and for his clubs Turloughmore and Corofin. Burke made his debut for Galway against Laois, and was part of the team that reached the 2015 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final after defeating Tipperary in the semi-final.
