Shane Lowry
Shane Lowry (born 2 April 1987) is an Irish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour and the PGA Tour. His notable achievements include winning the 2019 Open Championship, the Irish Open as an amateur in 2009, and the 2015 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. Early life Born in the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar, County Westmeath, Republic of Ireland, Lowry grew up in Clara, County Offaly. He is the son of Brendan Lowry, who won the 1982 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final with Offaly. Shane Lowry maintained his links with Offaly as his golfing career advanced, saying in 2021: "But any time I get the chance to go to O'Connor Park and watch Offaly play, I do and I am the first to give out if they lose and I am sitting in the stand." Brendan Lowry
Brendan Lowry (born 11 July 1959) is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played for his local club Ferbane and at senior level for the Offaly county team from 1981 until 1992. Lowry scored 0–3 to help his team to victory in the 1982 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship Final, the most recent occasion that Offaly won the Sam Maguire Cup. His brothers Mick and Seán also played in the 1982 All-Ireland SFC winning side. Lowry managed the Westmeath senior team between 1997 and 2000. He received a controversial six-month ban (which was later lifted) after protesting against a tackle on Dessie Dolan in the 2000 O'Byrne Cup final. Pablo Martín Benavides (born 20 April 1986) is a Spanish professional golfer. Martín was born in Málaga, and attended Oklahoma State University in the United States. He was named the Jack Nicklaus Award winner, the Haskins Award winner in 2006 as the best collegiate golfer in the world. He won the 2005 Porter Cup. In April 2007, Martín became the first amateur ever to win a European Tour event when he captured the Estoril Open de Portugal title. As an amateur, he had to forfeit the winner's prize money of €208,330, but the win still granted him exemption on the European Tour until the end of 2009. Danny Jin-Myung Lee ( ko, 이진명; born 24 July 1990) is a New Zealand professional golfer. Lee was born in Incheon, South Korea, and emigrated to New Zealand at the age of eight.
