Shamsul Haq Chowdhury
Shamsul Haque Chowdhury () (born 20 July 1957) is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and a present Member of Parliament from Chittagong-12. He is also the general secretary of Chittagong based football club Chittagong Abahani. Early life Chowdhury was born 20 July 1957 in Shovonandi, Patiya Upazila, Chittagong District. Career Chowdhury was a councilor of Bangladesh Football Federation in 2008. In April 2008, before the elections of Bangladesh Football Federation, he filed a motion challenging the candidacy of Ashraf Uddin Ahmed Chunnu, Golam Rabbani Helal, and Kazi Salahuddin. His motion was dismissed by the election commission of the federation. In July 2008, he was made a member of the development committee of Bangladesh Football Federation. Kazi Md. Salahuddin ( bn, কাজী সালাউদ্দিন; born 23 September 1953) is a Bangladeshi former football player currently serving as a president of South Asian Football Federation. He was a member of the Shadhin Bangla Football Team, the team which played across India to raise funds during the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971. Salahuddin is the first professional football player from the country to play abroad in the professional league in Hong Kong and considered to be one of Bangladesh's most famous football players. He was a member of the Bangladesh national football team, retiring in 1980. Rapid Action Battalion
Rapid Action Battalion or RAB, is an anti-crime and anti-terrorism unit of the Bangladesh Police. This elite force consists of members of the Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Police, Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Air Force, Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Civil Service and Bangladesh Ansar. Golam Rabbani Helal
Golam Rabbani Helal was a Bangladesh national footballer and organizer. Career From 1979 to 1985, Helal played for the Bangladesh national football team. He also played for Abahani from 1975 to 1988. He briefly played for the Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation football team, Team BJMC. After retiring from playing he became a director of Abahani. In April 2008, his candidacy for the Bangladesh Football Federation was challenged in court by Shamsul Haque Chowdhury.
