Shamsuddin Ahmed was an independent politician and a member of parliament for Mymensingh-6. Career Ahmed was elected to parliament from Mymensingh-6 as an independent candidate in 2001. In 2018, he was nominated by Bangladesh Nationalist Party to contest the 11th parliamentary election. Death Ahmed died on 8 May 2020. Moslem Uddin
Muslem Uddin (born 30 January 1939) is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and former Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Mymensingh-6 constituency. Early life Muslem Uddin was born on 30 January 1939. He has B.A., B.Ed., and LLB degrees. Career Muslem Uddin was elected to parliament in 1986, 1996, 2008, 2014 and 2018 from Mymensingh-6 as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate. On 31 December 2016, a murder case was filed against Uddin over the death of two protesters, including a professor, in police action. The protestors were demanding the nationalization of the Fulbaria Degree College. Mymensingh ( bn, ময়মনসিংহ) is the capital of Mymensingh Division, Bangladesh.
