Shamrock Shotgun
The Shamrock Shotgun was an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, that took place at the Shamrock Curling Club in Edmonton, Alberta. The tournament was held in a round robin format. A bonspiel is a curling tournament, consisting of several games, often held on a weekend. Until the 20th century most bonspiels were held outdoors, on a frozen freshwater loch. Today almost all bonspiels are held indoors on specially prepared artificial ice. Michèle Jäggi (born 22 September 1987) is a Swiss curler. Jäggi has represented Switzerland as a junior curler, and is currently active on the World Curling Tour. Jäggi currently skips her own team. Career Jäggi is a former Swiss junior champion. She first appeared on the international scene at the World Junior Curling Championships in 2006, finishing in fourth place after losing in the semifinals and the bronze medal game. Jessica "Jessie" Hunkin (born August 24, 1988, née Kaufman) is a Canadian curler from Parkland County, Alberta. She currently skips her own team out of Spruce Grove. Career Until joining the Robyn Silvernagle rink in 2018, Hunkin skipped or threw last stones one of the top teams in Alberta. Since forming her rink in 2008, she has won four WCT events: the 2010 Meyers Norris Penny Charity Classic, the 2011 Boundary Ford Curling Classic, the 2012 Iron Trail Motors Shoot-Out and the 2013 Avonair Cash Spiel. Kim Eun-jung (curler)
Kim Eun-jung, nicknamed "Annie" (born November 29, 1990) is a South Korean curler from Uiseong. She currently skips her own team on the World Curling Tour. Kim skipped the national team from 2016 to 2018 and represented Korea on home ice at the 2018 Winter Olympics where her team won a silver medal. Career As a junior skip, Kim led South Korea to three-straight silver medals at the Pacific-Asia Junior Curling Championships. Satsuki Fujisawa
is a Japanese curler from Kitami, Hokkaido. As a skip, she has won the Japanese national championship six times. Fujisawa skipped the bronze medal-winning Japanese team at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games and the silver medal-winning team at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Robert "Rob" Schlender (born January 29, 1972 in Millet, Alberta) is a Canadian curler from Sherwood Park, Alberta. Career Schlender skipped Alberta in two Canadian Junior Curling Championships, in 1990 and 1991. At the 1990 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, the team finished with a 5-6 record, missing the playoffs. At the 1991 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, the team lost in the final to Northern Ontario's Jason Repay. Career Juniors Lizmore, who is originally from London, Ontario won the 2007 Pepsi Ontario Junior Curling Championships playing vice for the Ryan Myler rink.
