Shalev Menashe
Shalev Menashe ( he, שלו מנשה, born 23 May 1982) is a retired Israeli footballer who last played at Maccabi Netanya. Career Menashe started his senior career with Ironi Rishon Letzion a small club in the Israeli Premier League, but after two solid seasons in Rishon where he helped the team avoid relegation he made a move to Maccabi Petah Tikva. However, his time at Maccabi was unsuccessful when he only played one season. In 2004, he signed a deal with Hapoel Kfar Saba from Liga Leumit and in his first season with them he won the league and after 3 years with Kfar Saba he moved to Maccabi Herzliya there he only played one season after the team faced relegation. In June 2008 Menashe signed a 1-year deal with Maccabi Netanya, this was the first time he was a part of a top club in Israel and so far his time in Netanya is proving to be his finest. Aner Shalev
Aner Shalev (born 24 January 1958) is a professor at the Einstein Institute of Mathematics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a writer. Biography Shalev was born in Kibbutz Kinneret and grew up in Beit Berl. He moved to Jerusalem at 18 to study mathematics and philosophy at the Hebrew University, and since then, excluding some years abroad, he has been living mainly in Jerusalem. Shalev received his Ph.D. in mathematics at the Hebrew University in 1989, summa cum laude. His doctoral thesis was written under the supervision of Professors Amitsur and Mann and dealt with group rings, an area combining group theory and ring theory. Shalev spent his post-doctoral period at Oxford University and at the University of London, returned to Israel in 1992, when he was hired as a senior lecturer at the Hebrew University. Avner Shalev he, אבנר שלו; born 1939) was the chairman of the Yad Vashem Directorate of The Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Authority from 1993 to 2021. Gabriela Shalev ( he, גבריאלה שלו, born August 19, 1941) is an Israeli jurist. She was Israeli ambassador to the United Nations. Early life Shalev was born in Tel Aviv in 1941. Her mother's parents were murdered in Auschwitz, and her father's parents had to leave a comfortable life in Berlin and immigrate to the Yishuv. In 1959 she entered the Israel Defense Forces, and she was honorably discharged in 1961 as a lieutenant. In 1966, she received an LL.B. (''summa cum laude'') from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. As a student, she helped support her family. She received an LL.M. (''summa cum laude'') in 1969, and Doctor Jur. (''summa cum laude'') in 1973, all from the Hebrew University. Meir Shalev ( he, מאיר שלו; born 29 July 1948) is an Israeli writer and newspaper columnist for the daily Yedioth Ahronoth . Shalev's books have been translated into 26 languages. Biography Shalev was born in Nahalal, Israel. Later he lived in Jerusalem and at Ginosar with his family. He is the son of the Jerusalem poet Yitzhak Shalev. His cousin Zeruya Shalev is also a writer. Shalev was drafted into the IDF in 1966, and did his military service in the Golani Brigade.
