Shabaib Al-Khaldi (born on 11 August 1998) is a Kuwaiti professional footballer who plays for Kazma and the Kuwaiti national team. International career He debuted internationally on 14 November 2019, at the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification, and scored his first goal in a major competition for Kuwait against Chinese Taipei in a 9–0 victory. Basra International Stadium ( ar, مدينة البصرة الرياضية) is a sports complex in Basra, southern Iraq. Overview Its construction started on 1 January 2009 and was completed on 12 October 2013. The sports city was funded by the government of Iraq with a budget of $550 million. Jaber al-Ahmad International Stadium ( ar, ملعب جابر الأحمد الدولي) is a multi-purpose stadium in the Ardhiyah area of Kuwait City, Kuwait. Completed in 2009, it is used mostly for football matches and athletics. The stadium has a capacity of 60,000 seated spectators, the building is constructed in 4 levels, with 54 corporate boxes and parking lot with a 6,000 car capacity. It was expected to open in second quarter of 2010, but the building failed structural-integrity testing and remained closed due to a miscalculation by structural engineers for nearly half a decade.
