Severino Zuazo
Severino Zuazo Ugalde (19 May 1889 - 20 July 1980) was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward for Athletic Club. He spent his whole career at Athletic, which makes him one of the first footballers to play for Athletic for his entire career, and thus to be part of the so-called one-club men group. Biography Born in Bilbao, he began to play football in 1908 at his hometown club Athletic Club. Zuazo played a pivotal role in helping the club win a North Regional Championship in 1914 and three Copa del Reys in 1910, 1911 and 1914. He was one of the most outstanding players in the latter edition, being its top scorer with a total of 5 goals, including both in a 2–1 win over España FC in the final. San Mamés Stadium ( es, Estadio San Mamés ; also known as ''La Catedral'' , "The Cathedral"), was a football stadium in Bilbao, Biscay, Spain. The stadium was the home of Athletic Bilbao, known as ''Los Leones de San Mamés''-''Bilboko lehoiak'' (The Lions of San Mamés). Félix Zubizarreta Ezpeleta was a Spanish Association football, footballer who was an outstanding Forward (association football)#Striker, striker for Athletic Bilbao, Athletic Club between 1913 and 1917. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three wickets with three consecutive deliveries. Fans held a collection for Stephenson, and presented him with a hat bought with the proceeds. The term was used in print for the first time in 1865 in the ''Chelmsford Chronicle''. Rafael Moreno Aranzadi (23 May 1892 – 1 March 1922), known as Pichichi, was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward. He played for Athletic Bilbao during the 1910s and 1920s. He received his nickname because of his frail build. Club career Born in Bilbao, Biscay, Pichichi played in his first Copa del Rey final in March 1913 as Athletic Bilbao, his sole club, lost 1–0 against Racing Club de Irún. Later the same year, on 21 August, the same opponents, now renamed Real Unión, were invited to play the inaugural game at San Mamés Stadium, and he scored the very first goal at the ground; two months later, he also scored the first goal at Real Sociedad's new Atotxa Stadium in the opening fixture for that venue. Real Unión Club, S.A.D. is a Spanish football club based in Irun, in the autonomous community of the Basque Country, in the province of Gipuzkoa, near the border with France.
