Setapp
Setapp is a subscription-based service for macOS and iOS applications released by the Ukrainian software company MacPaw in 2017. It provides access to a growing collection of software from different developers for a fixed monthly fee. App categories cover productivity, lifestyle, web development, Mac maintenance, creativity, writing, education, and personal finance. There are over 190 apps in the Setapp subscription and 1 million users. History Setapp launched in beta in November 2016, and was officially released in January 2017. OS X El Capitan ( ) () is the twelfth major release of macOS (named OS X at the time of El Capitan's release), Apple Inc.'s desktop and server operating system for Macintosh. Following the California location-based naming scheme introduced with OS X Mavericks, El Capitan was named after a rock formation in Yosemite National Park. Product Hunt is an American website to share and discover new products. It was founded by Ryan Hoover in November 2013. Users submit products, which are listed in a linear format by day. The site includes a comments system and a voting system similar to Hacker News or Reddit. The products with the most votes rise to the top of each day's list. Products are organized into four categories; technology products (web apps, mobile apps, hardware products, etc.), games (PC, web, mobile apps), books and podcasts.
