Serafim Neves
Serafim das Neves (29 August 1920 – 1989), was a Portuguese footballer who played as a defender. Club career Neves spent his entire career at Belenenses, where he won the Taça de Portugal in 1942, and the Primeira Divisão in 1947. International career Neves represented Portugal national team eighteen times and made his debut against Spain in Lisbon on 13 March 1945, in a 2–2 draw. The Primeira Liga (; English: Premier League, also written as Liga Portugal 1), also known as Liga Portugal Bwin for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of the Portuguese football league system. Organised and supervised by the Liga Portugal, it is contested by 18 teams since the 2014–15 season, with the three lowest placed teams relegated to the Liga Portugal 2 and replaced by the top-three non-reserve teams from this division.
