The Bergamasque dialect is the western variant of the Eastern Lombard group of the Lombard language. It is mainly spoken in the province of Bergamo and in the area around Crema, in central Lombardy. Albino (Bergamasque: ) is a ''comune'' in the province of Bergamo, in Lombardy, northern Italy. It is located northeast of Bergamo and is situated in the valley of the river Serio (''Val Seriana''). Nembro (Bergamasque: ) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about northeast of Milan and about northeast of Bergamo, on the right bank of the Serio River. Nembro borders the following municipalities: Albino, Algua, Alzano Lombardo, Pradalunga, Scanzorosciate, Selvino, Villa di Serio, Zogno.
