Selena Zhao
Selena Zhao (born 10 May 1998) is a Canadian competitive figure skater. She is the 2015 Canadian Junior Champion. Personal life and education Zhao was born in the United States and holds a dual citizenship as an American and Canadian. Her parents were born in Beijing, China before emigrating to Vancouver, where her father earned his PhD. They eventually moved to Ottawa, where Zhao's older brother, Davis, was born. The family later settled in Kirkland, Washington for Zhao's father's job, where she was eventually born. In 2012, Zhao moved to Chicago, before relocating in 2013 to Colorado Springs, where she trained from 2013-2016. During this time, she attended Cheyenne Mountain High School as a top student in her classes, winning a department award in mathematics. Polina Edmunds (born May 18, 1998) is a retired American figure skater. She is the 2015 Four Continents champion, the 2014 CS U.S. Classic champion, and a two-time U.S. national silver medalist (2014, 2016). She represented the United States at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, finishing 9th. Earlier in her career, Edmunds won two ISU Junior Grand Prix events and the 2013 U.S. National Junior title. Jason Lawrence Brown (born December 15, 1994) is an American figure skater. He is a nine-time Grand Prix medalist, a two-time Four Continents medalist ( 2020 silver, 2018 bronze), and the 2015 U.S. national champion. Rohene Ward
Rohene Andre Ward (born June 28, 1983) is a retired American figure skater and choreographer. He competed four times at the U.S. Championships, in 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008. He also competed for Puerto Rico and is the 2004 Puerto Rican national champion. Career Ward is known for his flexibility, athleticism, and charisma, as well as jumping and spinning in both directions. His moves include the cantilever, the hydroblade, and the splits. An Evening With Champions
An Evening with Champions (EWC) is an annual benefit figure skating show organized by students of Harvard University. The event is a two-day skating show generally in October, which regularly attracts world-class skaters, thousands of spectators, hundreds of Harvard students, special guests, and donors. The show is entirely student-run and is managed completely by volunteer work. All profits go to the Jimmy Fund, one of New England's most cherished charities, and EWC is one of the oldest continually-running fundraising events for the charity. The Jimmy Fund supports pediatric and adult cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. After the 45th show in 2015, An Evening with Champions has donated over $2.9 million for the Jimmy Fund.
