Sean Antanaitis
Celebration is an American psychedelic soul band based out of Baltimore, Maryland, United States. Formed in 2004 the band is composed of singer Katrina Ford, multi-instrumentalist Sean Antanaitis and drummer David Bergander, with a number of additional rotating members: Walker Teret plays bass, sometimes guitar, percussion and backing vocals; Tony Drummond plays keys, percussion and backing vocals; Tommy Rouse plays guitar and percussion. History In the beginning, the band's sound as a three-piece was centered on the unique output provided by all the instruments played by Antanaitis in the studio as well as live. He would play all of the music in the band including organ, Moog bass pedals, guitorgan and electric keys, leaving Ford on vocals and Bergander on drums. Their first two records were produced with David Sitek of TV on the Radio. In addition to producing, Sitek also contributed guitar parts and synths. Future Islands is an American synth-pop band based in Baltimore, Maryland, comprising Gerrit Welmers (keyboards and programming), William Cashion (bass, acoustic and electric guitars), Samuel T. Herring (lyrics and vocals), and Michael Lowry (percussion). The Dead Science
The Dead Science (formerly The Sweet Science) is an experimental music, experimental pop band based in Seattle. The band consists of guitarist/vocalist Sam Mickens, Jherek Bischoff on bass (instrument), bass and Nick Tamburro on Drum kit, drums. Jherek Bischoff's brother Korum Bischoff, Korum was the drummer from the band's inception in 1999 through 2005. Tamburro, who'd shared drumming duties with him on the recording of Frost Giant (album), Frost Giant and had previously acted as The Dead Science's Concert tour, touring drummer, joined permanently upon his departure. Korum is still credited on the band's label page with "guidance, stability and sometimes drums." Their music is heavily influenced by their training as jazz musicians and involvement in the avant-garde music of a number of artists, most notably Xiu Xiu and Degenerate Art Ensemble.
