''Where Did the Night Fall'' is the fourth studio album from British electronic music act Unkle, released on . Background As a documentation of the work on the album, on 13 April 2009, James Lavelle, Unkle's mastermind, started an official "UNKLE Blog". According to the first post, Lavelle started to work in studio in January 2009 with Pablo Clements, James Griffith, Joel Cadbury, Gavin Clark, Matt Pierce and Mike Lowry. Promotion On a single, " Heavy Drug (Surrender Sounds Mix)", was made available digitally via Beatport and iTunes. On the download was followed by a remix EP with remixes by King Unique, Steve Mac and Future Beat Alliance. On a song, "Natural Selection", appeared as a streaming on ''Spin'' magazine's website, and was later made available to download as a 320 kbit/s MP3 file, via UNKLE's official website. Matthew Puffett, known by the stage name Future Beat Alliance, is an English electronica musician and producer. He started producing music in 1996 by releasing it through Void Records. Biography Puffett's career began in 1996, when he started producing music and releasing it through his own label, Void Records. He chose the stage name Future Beat Alliance after seeing it in the corner of "Renegades of Funk" record sleeve. Later, he moved to Ferox Records and then Archive Records. He released his ''Disconnected'' LP through Amsterdam based Delsin Records in 2001. Mark Lanegan
Mark William Lanegan (November 25, 1964 – February 22, 2022) was an American singer, songwriter, and poet. First becoming prominent as the lead singer for the early grunge band Screaming Trees, he was also known as a member of Queens of the Stone Age and The Gutter Twins. He released 12 solo studio albums, as well as three collaboration albums with Isobel Campbell and two with Duke Garwood. South are an English rock band. The band consisted of lead singer Joel Cadbury, Brett Shaw, and Jamie McDonald. Each member was a multi-instrumentalist and they shared duties on guitars, bass, percussion, keyboards. Celebration (2000s Band)
Celebration is an American psychedelic soul band based out of Baltimore, Maryland, United States. Formed in 2004 the band is composed of singer Katrina Ford, multi-instrumentalist Sean Antanaitis and drummer David Bergander, with a number of additional rotating members: Walker Teret plays bass, sometimes guitar, percussion and backing vocals; Tony Drummond plays keys, percussion and backing vocals; Tommy Rouse plays guitar and percussion. Lake Trout are a rock band based in Baltimore. Their music is a combination of rock, ambient, jazz, and many other styles, including influences from post-rock and post-punk. Autolux
Autolux is an American alternative rock band consisting of Eugene Goreshter (vocals, bass), Greg Edwards (vocals, guitar, piano) and Carla Azar (drums, vocals). Sleepy Sun was an American psychedelic rock band, formed in Santa Cruz, California and now based in San Francisco.
