Scott Strange
Scott Strange (born 7 April 1977) is an Australian professional golfer who competes on the European Tour, OneAsia Tour and the Asian Tour. Prior to turning Professional, Strange frequently represented the Western Australia amateur team in Australian Golf Union (now Golf Australia) events. He joined the Asian Tour in 2003 via Qualifying School, then had his first Asian Tour success in 2005, when he won the Myanmar Open. The following year he captured the Philippine Open. Having performed well in tournaments co-sanctioned by the European Tour during 2007, Strange earned a place on the European Tour for 2008 through his position on the Order of Merit. During his first season on the European Tour, Strange recorded his first win with a wire-to-wire victory at the Celtic Manor Wales Open, which lifted him into the top 100 of the Official World Golf Rankings for the first time. 2009 European Tour
The 2009 European Tour was the 38th series of golf tournaments since the European Tour officially began in 1972. There were major changes for the 2009 season as the tour entered a partnership agreement with Dubai based Leisurecorp. The Order of Merit was renamed the Race to Dubai with the addition of a new season ending tournament, the Dubai World Championship, being contested by the leading 60 players after the penultimate event for a US$7.5 million prize fund and a US$7.5 million bonus pool. The season began with five events in late 2008 and consisted of 54 official money tournaments. The PGA Championship (often referred to as the US PGA Championship or USPGA outside the United States) is an annual golf tournament conducted by the Professional Golfers' Association of America. It is one of the four men's major championships in professional golf. The Open Championship, often referred to as The Open or the British Open, is the oldest golf tournament in the world, and one of the most prestigious. Founded in 1860, it was originally held annually at Prestwick Golf Club in Scotland. Later the venue rotated between a select group of coastal links golf courses in the United Kingdom. Masters Tournament
The Masters Tournament (usually referred to as simply The Masters, or the U.S. Masters outside North America) is one of the four major championships in professional golf. Scheduled for the first full week of April, the Masters is the first major of the year, and unlike the others, it is always held at the same location, Augusta National Golf Club, a private course in the city of Augusta, Georgia, in the southeastern United States. Michael Hendry
Michael Hendry (born 15 October 1979) is a professional golfer from New Zealand. Since 2013 he has played primarily on the Japan Golf Tour where he won the 2015 Token Homemate Cup. He won the 2013 New Zealand PGA Championship and the 2017 New Zealand Open. Career Hendry was born in Auckland, New Zealand. He turned professional in 2005. Hendry plays on the PGA Tour of Australasia where has won the New Zealand PGA Championship twice and the New Zealand Open. In 2012, he finished second on the Order of Merit. The New Zealand PGA Championship is a golf tournament on the PGA Tour of Australasia. It is currently known for sponsorship reasons as the SEC NZ PGA Championship. Rick Gibson (born October 27, 1961) is a Canadian professional golfer who plays primarily in Asia. Early life Gibson was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He played college golf at Brigham Young University, where he was an All-American in 1984. Professional career Gibson played on the Canadian Tour after turning professional in 1984.
