Schilb
Blake Schilb (born December 23, 1983) is an American-born naturalized Czech former professional basketball player who last played for USK Praha of the Czech NBL. Standing , he plays the point forward position. College career Prior to Loyola University, Schilb was a postgraduate student at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, during the 2002-2003 academic year. A 6'7" (201 cm) guard (during his college days), Schilb played at Loyola University Chicago, with the Loyola Ramblers, from 2003 to 2007. In 2006, he became Loyola's first player since Alfredrick Hughes in 1985 to earn Associated Press All-American honors after averaging 19.1 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game. He graduated from Loyola as the school's fourth all-time leading scorer (1,879 points) and all-time leader in three-point field goals (204). The Loyola Ramblers men's basketball team represents Loyola University Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. The Ramblers participate as members of the Atlantic 10 Conference. The Ramblers joined the Missouri Valley Conference from 2013 to 2022, ending a 34-season tenure as charter members of the Horizon League. The LNB Pro A, currently known for sponsorship reasons as Betclic Élite, is the top-tier men's professional basketball league in France. The competition has existed since 1921. Since 1987, the Ligue Nationale de Basket has governed the league. The bottom two placed teams from each season are relegated to the second tier level Pro B. The winner of the play-offs of the Pro A is crowned the French national champion. Competition format All 16 Pro A League teams play each other twice during the regular season. The LNB Pro A Leaders Cup, or French Basketball League Cup, is the annual national league cup competition for teams from the top-tier level of French professional basketball, the LNB Pro A. It was created in its current form in 2003 (after originally being founded in 1988). It is organized by the Ligue Nationale de Basketball (LNB), which also organizes the top two leagues of French professional basketball (Pro A, and Pro B). Inspired by the Spanish Copa del Rey (Spanish Basketball King's Cup), the ''Final Eight'' format has always been used. At the end of the first half of the regular season, the top eight teams (or the top seven teams and the tournament's host team) from the first division French LNB Pro A League qualify.
