House Music
House is a music genre characterized by a repetitive Four on the floor (music), four-on-the-floor beat and a typical tempo of 120 beats per minute. It was created by Disc jockey, DJs and music producers from Chicago metropolitan area, Chicago's underground Clubbing (subculture), club culture in the late 1970s, as DJs began altering disco songs to give them a more mechanical beat. House was pioneered by African Americans, African American DJs and producers in Chicago such as Frankie Knuckles, Ron Hardy, Jesse Saunders, Chip E., Steve "Silk" Hurley, Farley "Jackmaster" Funk, Marshall Jefferson, Phuture, and others. Satoshi Tomiie
is a Japanese DJ, record producer and musician. Biography A lifelong student of jazz and classical piano, Satoshi had an influential impact from his very first record. His debut single ‘Tears’, which he co-produced in 1989 with Chicago's ‘Godfather of House’ Frankie Knuckles, was an instant club hit. In the early 1990s, he toured and played keyboard for Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto (of Yellow Magic Orchestra fame). His reputation for crafting meticulous club rhythms led to him remixing some of pop's biggest names including U2, Mariah Carey, Photek, Simply Red and David Bowie. At the turn of the millennium, Satoshi introduced a groundbreaking new club sound via 2000's ‘Full Lick’ album. Hector Romero (producer)
In Greek mythology, Hector (; grc, Ἕκτωρ, Hektōr, label=none, ) is a character in Homer's Iliad. He was a Trojan prince and the greatest warrior for Troy during the Trojan War. José María Gutiérrez Hernández (born 31 October 1976), known as Guti, is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder, currently a manager. Nathan Fake
Nathan Fake is an English electronic music artist from Necton in Norfolk, England, who has released singles as well as three albums on the label Border Community Recordings. In 2006, his debut album ''Drowning in a Sea of Love'' was released on Border Community. He released a six track mini-album ''Hard Islands'' in 2009. His third album ''Steam Days'' followed in 2012. In 2014, Fake founded the label Cambria Instruments with Wesley Matsell, the inaugural release being a split single between the two artists. In February 2020, Fake announced his fifth studio album called ''Blizzards'' would be released by Cambria Instruments on 3 April 2020. In April 2021, Fake released the Sanxenxo EP on Cambria Instruments, recorded during the BLIZZARDS album jam sessions. Lexicon Avenue is an electronic music group from Newcastle upon Tyne, consisting of Scott Bradford, Mark Armstrong, and Chris Scott. Their own Forensic record label began with the first Lexicon release, "Hear I Am", and with releases and remixes on Satoshi Tomiie's Saw Recordings, Hooj Choons, Renaissance Recordings, Yoshitoshi Records, Yoshitoshi. Gabriel & Dresden is an American electronic music duo comprising Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden, formed in San Francisco, California. They collaborated from 2001 to 2008, then again from 2011 to the present. During that time, they have created numerous hit songs and remixes, some of which are considered classics. They won the coveted Winter Music Conference IDMA award for "Best American DJ" twice, in 2007 and 2008, the latter time on the same day that the group split up.
