Saunavuoro
''Saunavuoro'' (meaning "sauna turn" or "time for sauna") is a Finnish TV comedy show, similar to ''The Fast Show'' or ''Smack the Pony'' in the UK. It was shown on YLE TV1 from 2004 to 2005. ''Saunavuoro'' is themed to look like it was filmed in the 1960s. Its most famous character is Finnish president Urho Kekkonen and his adjutant, but there are some other regular characters as well. Some of the sketches include: * Kekkonen and his adjutant in the sauna. Kekkonen is naked (but still wears his eyeglasses), while his adjutant wears a full military dress uniform. Sauna
A sauna (, ), or sudatory, is a small room or building designed as a place to experience dry or wet heat sessions, or an establishment with one or more of these facilities. Smack The Pony
''Smack the Pony'' is a British sketch comedy show that was originally broadcast between 1999 and 2003 on Channel 4. The main performers on the show were Fiona Allen, Doon Mackichan and Sally Phillips. There were also regular appearances from Sarah Alexander, Darren Boyd and Cavan Clerkin. The show's theme tune was a version of the Dusty Springfield song "In the Middle of Nowhere", sung by Jackie Clune. In addition to the three principal cast members, the show was written by many writers, the core of which went on to write ''Green Wing'' and ''Campus''. Urho Kekkonen
Urho Kaleva Kekkonen (; 3 September 1900 – 31 August 1986), often referred to by his initials UKK, was a Finnish politician who served as the eighth and longest-serving president of Finland from 1956 to 1982. He also served as Prime Minister of Finland, prime minister (1950–53, 1954–56), and held various other cabinet positions. Finnish ( endonym: or ) is a Uralic language of the Finnic branch, spoken by the majority of the population in Finland and by ethnic Finns outside of Finland.
