Satavahana University
Satavahana University is a non-profit public university higher Co-educational institution situated in Karimnagar, Telangana . Officially recognized by the University Grants Commission (India), University Grants Commission of India. The university is named after the Satavahana dynasty. History Satavahana University has its roots in a Post Graduate Centre of Osmania University, established 1976 in Godavarikhani. In 1993 the centre was transferred to the Kakatiya University. The centre was upgraded to university in month of June 2008. It started functioning from its permanent campus in Karimnagar in 2012. Governor Of Telangana
The governor of Telangana is the head of state of the Indian state of Telangana. The governors have similar powers and functions at the state level as those of the President of India at central level. They exist in the state appointed by the President of India for a term of 5 years and they are not local to the state that they are appointed to govern. University Grants Commission (India)
University Grants Commission (UGC) is a statutory body set up by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India in accordance to the UGC Act 1956 and is charged with coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of higher education in India. It provides recognition to universities in India, and disbursements of funds to such recognized universities and colleges. Satavahana Dynasty
The Satavahanas (''Sādavāhana'' or ''Sātavāhana'', IAST: ), also referred to as the Andhras in the Puranas, were an ancient Indian dynasty based in the Deccan region. Most modern scholars believe that the Satavahana rule began in the late second century BCE and lasted until the early third century CE, although some assign the beginning of their rule to as early as the 3rd century BCE based on the Puranas, but uncorroborated by archaeological evidence. The Satavahana kingdom mainly comprised the present-day Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Maharashtra. At different times, their rule extended to parts of modern Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Karnataka. Kakatiya University
Kakatiya University is a public university located in Hanmakonda, Warangal in the Indian state of Telangana. It was most recently accredited with an "A" Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council of India on 12 September 2017. Karimnagar district is one of the 33 districts of the Indian state of Telangana. Karimnagar city is its administrative headquarters.
