Sara Llana
Sara Llana García (21 August 1997) is a Spanish rhythmic gymnast who competed in the national team. She has participated in four World Championships (Izmir 2014, Stuttgart 2015, Pesaro 2017 and Sofia 2018), and two Europeans (Nizhni Nóvgorod 2012 as a junior and Budapest 2017 as a senior), as well as being 4 times champion of Spain as an individual and 5 times with the group of Club Ritmo. Personal life Sara took up gymnastics at age six after one of her friends asked her to try the sport. Her idol is Carolina Rodriguez who trained at the same club. She's now studying aerospace engineering at the University of Leon while helping with the coaching in Club Ritmo. María Añó
María Añó (born 24 September 2002) is a Spanish rhythmic gymnast. She represented her country in international competitions. Personal life Añó took up the sport when she was three, her mother took her to ballet classes but she didn't like it. They lived next to a gymnastics hall, so she enrolled María there, after the first class she already knew that she loved gymnastics. Her dream is to compete at the Olympic Games. Her idols are Russian rhythmic gymnasts Aleksandra Soldatova, Dina Averina and Arina Averina and Spanish rhythmic gymnast Carolina Rodriguez. 2018 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships
The 2018 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships were held in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 10 September to 16 September 2018 at Arena Armeec. The top three countries in the group all-around, Russia, Italy, and Bulgaria won the first three spots for the 2020 Olympic Games. Russia was the most successful nation of the competition with seven of the nine gold medals, and Bulgaria and Italy each won a title. On 11 September, Russia's Dina Averina won the first two gold medals of the competition, in the Hoop (rhythmic gymnastics), hoop and Ball (rhythmic gymnastics), ball event finals.
