Sanremo Music Festival 1993
The Sanremo Music Festival 1993 ( it, Festival di Sanremo 1993), officially the 43rd Italian Song Festival (), was the 43rd annual Sanremo Music Festival, held at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, province of Imperia between 23 and 27 February 1993 and broadcast by Rai 1. The show was presented by Pippo Baudo and Lorella Cuccarini. The winner of the Big Artists section was Enrico Ruggeri with the rock-pop song "Mistero", while Cristiano De André ranked second and won the Critics Award with the ballad "Dietro la porta". Laura Pausini won the Newcomers section with the song "La solitudine". After every night Rai 1 broadcast ''DopoFestival'', a talk show about the Festival with the participation of singers and journalists. It was hosted by Alba Parietti and Pippo Baudo with Giancarlo Magalli, Marta Marzotto and Roberto D'Agostino. Pippo Baudo
Giuseppe Vittorio Raimondo Baudo (born 7 June 1936), known as Pippo Baudo, is one of the most famous Italian television presenters, with a career spanning six decades. He is often nicknamed "Superpippo" (referencing the Italian name of Super Goof). Baudo has also been the artistic director and president of the Teatro Stabile di Catania. Career Baudo was born in Militello in Val di Catania. While studying law at the University of Catania, he became involved in entertainment as an actor and host. He also learned to play the piano. He graduated with a degree in law, despite his interest in entertainment. At the end of the 1950s, he became a singer and pianist for Orchestra Moonlight. Grazia Di Michele (born 9 October 1955) is an Italian singer-songwriter. Life and career Born Maria Grazia Di Michele in Rome to parents from Abruzzo, at very young age, she founded with Chiara Scotti and Clelia Lamorgese "L'Ape di Vetro" ("The Glass Bee"), a politically inspired musical group which disbanded after a few years. Roberto Murolo
Roberto Murolo (19 January 1912 – 13 March 2003) was an Italian musician. Career Born in Naples, Italy as the son of poet Ernesto Murolo and Lia Cavalli, Murolo showed a began singing and playing the guitar as a child. Murolo won the Italian high diving championship in 1937, and attributed his remarkable lung capacity to the long practice of water sports. Andrea Mingardi (born 1 August 1940) is an Italian singer-songwriter, composer, musician, author and occasional actor. Giancarlo Bigazzi (5 September 1940 – 19 January 2012) was an Italian music producer and composer. He was a former member of comedy music group Squallor. Amedeo Minghi (born 12 August 1947) is an Italian singer-songwriter, composer and producer.
