Amedeo Minghi
Amedeo Minghi (born 12 August 1947) is an Italian singer-songwriter, composer and producer. Life and career Born in Rome, Minghi started his career in the mid-1960s participating in a large number of musical contests, and then making his professional debut in 1966 with the single "Alla fine", with lyrics by Mogol. The disappointing commercial results of the song and the military service took him away from the musical industry for several years. Following a new single in 1971, in 1973 he released his first eponymous album, with the uncredited collaboration of Francesco De Gregori. In the same years Minghi started collaborating as a composer with several artists, such as Vianella and Ricchi e Poveri. In the mid-1970s he was briefly a member of the musical ensamble Pandemonium, with whom he recorded his song "L'immenso", which got several international covers and was his first real success. Gianni Morandi
Gianni Morandi (; born 11 December 1944) is an Italian pop singer, actor and entertainer. Early life Gian Luigi Morandi was born in a little village called Monghidoro on the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. His father Renato was active within the Italian Communist Party and Gianni used to help him sell the party newspapers. At an early age Morandi worked as a shoe-shiner, cobbler and as a vendor of sweets in the village's only cinema. His vocal abilities led him to a number of small gigs, some of which were during the Communist Party's activities. Career He made his debut in 1962 and quickly placed high at or won a number of Italian popular song festivals, including the ''Canzonissima'' festival in 1969. In 1962 he was signed by RCA Italiana and achieved national stardom with the song "Fatti mandare dalla mamma", and remained Italy's darling throughout that decade. Lino Banfi (born Pasquale Zagaria; 9 July 1936) is an Italian film actor and presenter. He has appeared in more than 100 films since 1960. Biography He was born in the Apulian city of Andria and at the age of three, moved to Canosa di Puglia. Lino Banfi became one of the most well-known actors in Italian "sexy comedies" in the 1970s.
