Sanjalice
Sanjalice ( sr-Cyrl, Сањалице, trans. ''The Dreamers'') were a Yugoslav rock band formed in Belgrade in 1964. Sanjalice are notable for being one of the pioneers of the Yugoslav rock scene, as well as one of the first Yugoslav all-female bands. History Sanjalice were formed at the end of 1964, when three female friends, Ljiljana Mandić, Slobodanka Miščević and Ljiljana Jevtić, all three living in the same building, decided to form a band influenced by the Beach Boys and the Walker Brothers. The band's first lineup consisted of Ljiljana Mandić (vocals, guitar), Slobodanka Miščević (rhythm guitar, vocals), Ljiljana Jevtić (bass guitar), Vojislav Veljković (drums), and Radomir Vuković (organ), most of them at the time being elementary school students. Jugodisk
Jugodisk was a record label was established in 1968, in the then Socialist Republic of Serbia in SFR Yugoslavia in Belgrade, today Serbia. Before 1981, it was known as Beograd Disk. In 2003, the company was sold at a state auction to the show business manager Nenad Kapor and since then it operates as Jugodisk A.D. ( joint stock company). History Jugodisk was established in 1968, in the then Socialist Republic of Serbia in SFR Yugoslavia, hence its name is a portmanteau word of ''Jugoslavija'' (Yugoslavia) and ''disk'' (for a vinyl record). Parada Ritma
Parada ritma (''Parade of Rhythm''), also known as Vatromet ritma (trans. ''Fireworks of Rhythm''), was a series of concerts held in SFR Yugoslavia during 1964 and 1965. The first concert in the series is notable as the first rock festival in Yugoslavia and arguably the first rock festival in a communist country. History 1964 Parada ritma The first concert in the series, considered the first rock festival in Yugoslavia, was held in Belgrade's Dom Sindikata in January 1964. The festival featured beat bands Safiri, Iskre, Lutalice, Zlatni Dečaci and singer Ivanka Pavlović accompanied by the band Valjevski Dečaci. Jugoton was the largest record label and chain record store in the former Yugoslavia based in Zagreb, SR Croatia. History Jugoton was formed in 1947. It is notable for releasing some of the most important former Yugoslav pop and rock records. In addition, the company owned a widespread network of record shops across SFR Yugoslavia. Diskos was a Yugoslav state-owned record label, founded in 1962 and based in Aleksandrovac, SR Serbia. Siluete
Siluete ( sr-cyr, Силуете, trans. ''The Silhouettes'') were a Serbian and Yugoslav rock band formed in Belgrade in 1961. They were one of the pioneers of the Yugoslav rock scene. Soon after the formation, Siluete, fronted by charismatic vocalist Zoran Miščević, gained the attention of the audience with their live performances. In 1963 the original members of the band departed, a part of the original lineup continuing with new members as The Shadows-inspired instrumental band, and later performing with vocalist Tomi Sovilj. In 1964 Miščević returned to Siluete, and the band soon gained nationwide fame thanks to their energetic and sometimes transgressive live performances. Fresco (plural ''frescos'' or ''frescoes'') is a technique of mural painting executed upon freshly laid ("wet") lime plaster. Water is used as the vehicle for the dry-powder pigment to merge with the plaster, and with the setting of the plaster, the painting becomes an integral part of the wall.
