Sangarsh is an annual fund-raising musical concert organised by Rotaract club of CEG, Anna University, Chennai. Sangarsh is focused at aiding the needy sections of the society. Many eminent playback singers have made their presence over the years. Actor Kamal Haasan was the patron for Sangarsh'11. Oscar-winning Music Director A.R.Rahman was the patron of Sangarsh'12. Veteran actor Prakash Raj and actor Srikanth were the patrons for Sangarsh'13. The College of Engineering, Guindy (CEG) is a public engineering college in Chennai, India and is Asia's oldest technical institution, founded in 1794. It is also the oldest technical institution to be established outside Europe. History Due to the growing need for surveyors by the East India Company, the 'School of Survey' was established in a building near Fort St. George on the suggestion of Michael Topping in 1794. Lady Kash and Krissy, sometimes credited as Kash n' Krissy, were a Singaporean Indian rapper-singer duo that was formed in September 2008 by Kalaivani Nagaraj, known as Lady Kash, and Saradha Vidianand Das, known as Krissy. Ranjith K. Govind (born 21 February 1977), also known as K.G. Ranjith, is an Indian playback singer, working in the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada film industries and has sung more than 2500 songs. Early life Ranjith was born in Chennai, India into a Malayali family, hailing from Kalluvazhi, Kerala. He grew up listening to various kinds of music. Benny Dayal (born 13 May 1984) is an Indian playback singer. He is a prominent singer in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati and Marathi and more languages films.
