Sandra Paños García-Villamil (; born 4 November 1992) is a Spanish professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper for FC Barcelona Femení, Barcelona and the Spain women's national football team, Spain national team. Paños currently serves as Barcelona's third captain. At Barcelona, Paños has won two Primera División (women), league titles, three Copa de la Reina de Fútbol, Copas de la Reina, and two UEFA Women's Champions League titles, the first of which was won in 2020–21 season as a part of Barcelona's first Treble (association football), continental treble. The 2017 UEFA European Women's Championship, commonly referred to as UEFA Women's Euro 2017, was the 12th edition of the UEFA Women's Championship, the quadrennial international football championship organised by UEFA for the women's national teams of Europe. The competition was expanded to 16 teams (from 12 teams in the previous edition). The Netherlands were declared as hosts by the UEFA Executive Committee on 4 December 2014. RCD Espanyol Femení (Real Club Deportivo Español) is the women's football section of RCD Espanyol and was founded in 1970. History RCD Espanyol was one of the pioneering teams in women's football in Spain, playing its first match as early as 1970. Levante Unión Deportiva Femenino is the women's football team of Valencian football club Levante UD, based at Ciudad Deportiva in Buñol and playing in the Liga F. Sara Mérida Pérez (born 8 April 1993) is a Spanish retired footballer who last played for RCD Espanyol. Debuting as a teenager with Espanyol, she won the Copa de la Reina twice and the Copa Catalunya once. As a youth international with Spain she won the U-17 Euro and came third at the U-17 World Cup in 2010. Despite youth success, she retired age 21 after tearing her anterior cruciate ligament four times, and became a physiotherapist and coach. She is currently the head coach of women's team CE Europa B.
